Welcome! As the Christmas Season approaches we all start to think about creating a festive feeling in our homes, and ponder the handmade gifts we would like to create for family and friends. I decided to try making an Advent Calendar with the little pull out treat drawers. I designed a cutting file in Silhouette Studio (I have the Designer Edition), and then cut out the boxes, drawers, numbers, and some of the decorative elements using my Silhouette CAMEO machine. I also used some Close to my Heart Thin Cut dies from my craft supplies, and cut stars,...

Christmas Cards are on my mind! Here I used one of the CTMH White Daisy value card bases to make a Side step card... just cut a slit from the top and then folded. I used  'Gimme some sugar' bulk paper, clover cardstock and ink, and the small flag die from new thin cut Fancy Tags set. I also used Silver Shimmer trim, and some silver thread that was in my stash. I don't usually make cards this simple... but I thought it looked better this way. I used a Thin cut Basic circle die, Stitched circle die and double stitched border from the Decorative Border thin cut set. I used the flowers from a business builder stampset for my mistletoe to match the greeting, and used adhesive pearls to give it some class. The stripes stamp was part of the Stamp of the Month set. I like the simple clean combo of White Daisy, Candy Apple & Willow. I know it is early for Christmas cards... but with all the things I have...

So last night I made this Rose card. I used Bashful cardstock for a soft pretty look. I ran the White Daisy cardstock in the rose embossing folder through my Big Shot machine to add texture, then drew with watercolour pencils to add colour to one rose up in the corner...along with a little bashful shimmer brush. Sentiment is stamped in Blossom ink. The leaf pattern is cut in Bashful cardstock using the Decorative Border thin cut die. I added a strip of Bashful glitter for a little sparkle. The bashful frame is the fallout that came from a shaker window with the...

My first try at Shaker window card !!! I filled the Shaker Window with star confetti thin cuts and embellished using Basic star thin cuts. I used a stamp set from the Cricut Artbooking collection and Saffron stamp pad for the greeting& flags. I also stamped the stars inside the window using the Lemon stamp pad. I wanted a two tone Shaker window frame so I cut a Candy Apple shaker window circle, then trimmed out along the dotted/stitched line with micro tip scissors to make a thin outline. I adhered this ring to the Lemon shaker window frame circle and glued them to the...
