I played with the Paper Pals stamps & dies today, along with the Face Palm stamp set. I thought this was a cute little card combining these sets :)

I liked the idea of a Pirate card...and the Face Palm stamp UGH, as a replacement for the pirate sound Argh. When I assembled the card and realized the angle of the scarf showed a bald head...it reminded me of my son's fight with Cancer a few years ago, and I thought the sentiment kind of fitted that situation. I know how much of a horrible journey that is, and such a hard one to approach with other people....so I guess you would need a very special friendship to actually feel you could use this card.... but it certainly made...

I just LOVE this colour combination....maybe my favourite to date!! Lemon, Glacier and Charcoal for a layout for my boys. Sometimes it is best to use simple shapes - Basic circles and Basic stars thin cut dies  The patterned papers are from the CTMH 2018 Seasons Mix-In paper packet. I also used the Alphabet Thin cuts, and the Framework Alphabet stampset.      

Layout for my son's album... he is 9 yrs old... but I want to add more baby photos. Really like the quilt pieced thin cuts, and wanted to try the new love at first sight stamps in sapphire, bluebird and Carolina. Loved using the tiny leaves and heart stamps to make "patterned paper" 

My first try at Shaker window card !!! I filled the Shaker Window with star confetti thin cuts and embellished using Basic star thin cuts. I used a stamp set from the Cricut Artbooking collection and Saffron stamp pad for the greeting& flags. I also stamped the stars inside the window using the Lemon stamp pad. I wanted a two tone Shaker window frame so I cut a Candy Apple shaker window circle, then trimmed out along the dotted/stitched line with micro tip scissors to make a thin outline.
