As the Christmas Season approaches we all start to think about creating a festive feeling in our homes, and ponder the handmade gifts we would like to create for family and friends.

I decided to try making an Advent Calendar with the little pull out treat drawers.

I designed a cutting file in Silhouette Studio (I have the Designer Edition), and then cut out the boxes, drawers, numbers, and some of the decorative elements using my Silhouette CAMEO machine.

I also used some Close to my Heart Thin Cut dies from my craft supplies, and cut stars, stitched circles, fancy tag, and decorative borders to use as decorative elements on the drawer fronts. I ran the dies through my Big Shot machine.

I also used Close To My Heart Cardstock, Shimmer trim, Inks and Stamps.
