Sneek Peek Halloween Layout
Even though Halloween is not huge in NZ, my kids like to dress up for it. My youngest has her birthday on Halloween as well, so we usually have themed parties to celebrate. I have started making layouts and treat boxes in the lead up to her birthday...EEK!! This one uses the nectarine cardstock on both the dark side (titles & witch hair) and light side (photo mats).
Halloween Cards
Time for some Halloween cards. First off, for my little ghosty card I tried the wild backgrounds with Nectarine Stamp Pad on white daisy, then sponged to soften. This ghost stamp is so cute!! I also love the Fancy Tags dies, and the 'No Tricks just Treats" sentiment fit just perfectly. I really like the little candy corn stamp from this set too - I had to look up the right colours though because we can't buy that candy here in NZ I decided to try other Halloween cards using the paper doll stamps & thin cuts along with some...
Thankful Layout
Another layout I worked on this afternoon....just finished putting it together. The "Thankful" title is from You are here cartridge...I hand-drew with Le-Pen on the flowers and stem which I cut from Flower Market, except the orange ones which I just hand-drew and fussy cut. (I have an old scallop punch which I used for the white border.)
